Logan and Tom's relationship is so interesting to me. Tom goes from someone so insignificant that when Logan ways to shiv on her wedding day that "he's a good man" it's unsure whether he's talking about her husband or her new boss who Logan just made a deal with to someone who Logan trusts as much as he wanted to trust his kids.

I have watched every season at least 3 times. Tommy went riding off on the white horse, a symbol for purity, realising, finally, that he is just an ordinary man. I'm sure all Peaky fans would wish to know what sort of man he became. I can't wait for the movie to come out. 😊

I like both, Family Guys cutaways are fine, what i HATE about Family Guy are the random musical numbers when they sing the whole song. Like Herbert singing "Time of My Life", the whole thing!...or the Shabupi Girl thats Hard to Get in the Patriot episode. Just not funny and take too long and very annoying. I loathe those for whatever reason lol. South Park wins for me cause they don't have anything that annoys me. Some dumb episodes sure, lke the fecal transplant episode. But at least you can just skip it.

TBH, I always thought American Dad did a better job of being funny than Family Guy! Why? Because the characters are naturally funnier. From Stan's Boss, to Francine, the show can take any ONE character and build an hilarious episode about them, while Family Guy seems to just default to Stewie and Brain when the episode is dragging on.

I think your videos are amazing and incredible to watch....I would just like to make one small suggestion. You clearly put a lot of effort into research and finding out background info, so could you try and pronounce the names of your subjects the way they're meant to be said? I know it might be trivial, but it is really grating to hear you say the name Goeth with the typical english TH at the end....that sound doesn't exis in German.... his name is just Göt(h), as if there isn't an h at the end. Sorry for the rant, it's just a detail that takes you out of the flow of the narrative.... :)

I do try. I always look up interviews of the actor saying it and that’s what’s I heard. From my side, if I said Gut or Gurt as others have suggested, I can anticipate criticism for that too for being wrong so I just have to go with what seems right and what will be will be. But yes, it seems this time was wrong

They are completely different shows. One is an irreverent, absurdist style applied to pop culture as tools with which to bring about insightful and sometimes poignant notions that it hopes we'll think about, "but later! Not now, laugh now!" The other has "Canadian Irreverence," using pop culture as subjects of study, from which to launch its ideological themes in story form, delivering a well thought-out and expertly crafted humorous narrative that delivers the viewpoints to the watcher seamlessly. Wondering what "Canadian Irreverence" is? It's difficult to describe, exactly, but it's something like: "Cautiously Irreverent & Highly Respectful, sometimes at once, but usually alternating, sometimes accompanied by some very odd shifts in tone." That's a tough sell, I know, but it's not far off the mark, I promise you. 1.) I argue either that Matt and Trey aren't saying that (Family Guy lacks character-consistent jokes), or else they're just wrong. Brian is a highbrow elitist liberal with some very embarrassing dog needs that he ignores so they go out of control (A Democrat). His humor emerges primarily from those two fields, and at its best (and worst), the area that they overlap. Peter, a self-involved, shallow, literal moron with a good heart, who takes interest in whatever shiny thing flies past, and consequently he pulls off a wide variety of similar shallow, and seemingly unrelated, material. As my final appeal, let me just say this: I'm sure you'd agree that Stewie doing Quagmire's material just in a British accent just wouldn't win the day. (Fancy parties, of course, testifying that he COULD pull off a young quagmire REALLY well, if need be.) 2.) Think it's EASY?! To smile toothily and quietly run your brainchild for 12 FULL, non-consecutive minutes to many rounds of Dead Silence from the audience?! It is NOT friggin' easy! Hilarious later, yeah, but not bloody easy! Write a few extra jokes and make 'em fit real smooth with your theme and character arc, great, but take it from someone who knows, it's WAAAYY more nerve wracking and difficult, to let a 12 minute joke land, knowing that there's not just NO payoff, but a COST to the audience, and also knowing that most of your audience will either 'just not care' or just never have a moment of clarity, in which they become aware that they are now in a male relationship with the show (sometimes it's their partner, sometimes the kids), but like any male, they now know that ultimately, come feast or famine, they hold the wallet. The joke is both irreverent AND self-deprecating, turning its absurdist eye on its own use of that 'long-wait joke' a bit too often. It targets its irreverence at the SHOW, itself, but at a cost which is paid for by the AUDIENCE, as are ALL payoffs and costs for the show's humor. It's absolutely hilarious. BUT nobody, save Andy Kauffman perhaps, would be laughing WHILE its actually running. To everyone else, it's literally 12 minutes of life-shortening stress. 3.) I find it difficult to believe that someone, presenting as smartly as you do, could utter the words, "becomes a model"[lifting up above her betters] and "gets worms and has to work for Stewie" [disgusting enough to be lowered to servant status enthralled to his oft-ignored baby] and not see a connection; or "[...]joins the army" and "[...]joins a rock band," and again cannot seem to make a link. Are you a paid representative of Stone and Parker? 🧐Hmm...smells fishy. HAHA... reminds me of when I battled Cactus Pete! I knocked his mask, sending it into the sea! Peter's Portuguese first mate ended up.....ving in....ter it which in turn.....ptain get a net of fish........rappl........the guts.... ... ... 4.) Before I get smacked by your WHOLE follower base, let me restate: I very much like both of these shows (just like I very much like both Saints' Row AND Grand Theft Auto)! Family Guy induces mirth and pleasure, clearly inducing a Dopamine hit, and a bit later (just in time for bed), some of the less blatant wit involved in the plot elements will dawn on me, giving a mild serotonin hit (nice bonus for sleep). Whereas an episode of South Park tends to bring a serotonin event, characterized by a smug sense of fulfillment from knowing that, whichever ideology I favored, those two clever lads had my back, validating my opinion (they do a thoughtful and hilarious narrative really well, likely why I greatly enjoy their movies). Anyway, the serotonin boost comes with the watching then, later, I get a few pleasant chuckles as a mental visual from the show occurs, thereby putting me in a good frame of reference that both, prompts fun dreams, and lends extra tolerance for any annoyances which may occur the following morning. Both excellent in their own rights, and you've got five paragraphs worth of prattling to use as evidence of it.

Nacho was the coolest character in the series honestly. He went from being a super scary antagonist to Saul, to being terrified yet keeping his head around the incredibly sociopathic and dangerous Salamanca family.
